A field that leaves me spellbound

Marketing it is and its all around.

Products properly marketed touch heights

Others face problems coz the strategy was not right

In order to be a good marketer you need deep consumer insight

You have to have a differentiating factor coz the competition is tight

Your segmenting, targeting, positioning has to be in place

And your market mix will decide your position in the race

For those who think marketing is faff

Do remember we marketers cannot afford gaffe

Wrong marketing can lead a product to demise

Correct marketing for success of a product is a premise

Life @ MDI

After toiling hard for quite some time,

I achieved something which made my life rhyme.

The struggle to make it to a B School had come to an end

Landing up at MDI, I felt my life would mend !!!

I and my parents took a sigh of relief,

And then they bid me farewell with little sorrow and grieve.

For they knew MBA is going to make me super busy,

And visiting home frequently is not going to be easy!!

Early June I had quit my job,

Mid June I joined the MDI mob !!

Knowledge overflowing all around,

Ideas that could leave you spellbound.

Professors here are better than the best,

Seniors, I have never seen taking rest.

Lively campus even @ 3 in night

Arguments and discussions over maggi and coke ‘diet’

Budding managers trying to prove, their point is RIGHT

Parties here are the best

For students trying to relax and rest

They dance like crazy souls till late at night

Coz they know that their future is gonna be bright!!

Students running for classes and incendos is a common sight,

Strict rules to follow and the schedule is tight,

Sleep for more than 3 hours is not your right,

For a normal person these things may create fright.

Exams here are the most chilled out days

For its just one or two subjects instead of multiple forays.

The experience here cannot be captured into words

It’s a land of extraordinary, talented and some geeky nerds!!

A dream..

I had a dream quite different from the crowd,
The opportunity to fulfill it was given by GODREJ LOUD!!

A dream is special to the dreamer,
Someone wants to fly ,someone wants to be a swimmer.

Someone wants to go to the Great Barrier Reef ,
Someone wants to lessen sorrow & eradicate grief,
Someone wants to go to the mountains,
Someone wants to bathe in beer fountains!!

My dream is to fulfill the dream of my parents,
For it is they who taught me to dream, when I was nascent!!

They have sacrificed so much for me,
And to them I will, a good daughter be.

I want to send them to Thailand
An international trip that is going to be grand.

I would be elated if you decide to fulfill my dream,
Thanks a ton GODREJ LOUD I will scream!!
